From the first conversation to handing over the keys, our process is designed to give you clarity, confidence and control over your project.

Stage 1 · Let’s talk
Initial consultation
Call Craig & Simon to book an initial consultation. We’ll talk through your ideas, section, lifestyle, timeframe and budget, and help you understand the best way forward. It’s also an opportunity for both sides to make sure we’re the right fit.
Stage 2 · Design & planning
Developing the concept
We work alongside your architect or designer to develop the concept and make practical decisions early. Where appropriate, we’ll provide a ballpark budget at this stage so you can check that the proposed design is heading in the right financial direction before investing further in full working drawings.
Stage 3 · Confirming the investment
Working drawings & detailed pricing
Once the design is sufficiently developed and the ballpark budget stacks up, the working drawings can be completed with greater confidence. We then prepare detailed pricing so you understand the likely investment and can make informed decisions before construction begins.
Stage 4 · Contracts & preparing to build
Consents, contracts & scheduling
Once the scope and pricing are agreed, contracts are finalised and building consent, guarantees, insurance and project scheduling are completed. We work closely with your designer and consultants to get everything ready for construction.
Stage 5 · Construction
Building your home
Craig and Simon remain personally involved throughout construction, with clear responsibility for the project and day-to-day site operations. Buildertrend gives you access to schedules, photographs, selections and communication so you always know where things are up to.
Stage 6 · Completion & handover
The finishing touches
As construction nears completion, we focus on the details, final checks and handover. We’ll walk you through your completed home, provide the relevant documentation and remain available as you settle in.
